On 11:44 PM, February 8th, 2020 is the day that forever will change our lives.
SGT. Alyssa Price was involved in a severe automobile accident with her father. She sustained broken ribs, a fracture in her neck and suffered a stroke. Alyssa will have a long road of recovery in front of her, but she is strong, stubborn, and determined. SGT. Alyssa Price will make it through this.
Alyssa will be going to Chicago soon to begin therapy and work tirelessly each and every day to recover from her injuries. As her DOC family, we have set up this private fundraiser to help Alyssa and her own family pay for medical costs, commutes and meals for the long stays at the hospital and rehab facility.
The Images on the t-shirts represent the unity among all of us within the Department of Corrections and the Law Enforcement Community as a whole. When one of our sisters or brothers should fall, we will pick them up and do all we can to return them to their post, to continue to lead, protect and serve another day.
On each day we walk through the gates of our correctional institutions without guns. Unity, strength and pride serve as are our shields. “BEHIND THE WIRE, WE ARE ONE!”
By purchasing these shirts it will raise the funds needed for Alyssa’s road to recovery, but also show your support for her journey, and career as a correctional officer.
